Acknowledging CIVIT in publications

The Centre for Immersive Visual Technologies (CIVIT) is funded by Tampere University, and is evaluated based on the scientific outcome of the research that benefitted from the infrastructure. The benefit can be obtained in the form of equipment and additionally through the help of CIVIT staff, who maintain, develop, and assist in its use. To guarantee maintaining the infrastructure in the future, all academic publications and theses that benefitted from the infrastructure should acknowledge the role of CIVIT and the possible role of the staff personnel. Use the text below to acknowledge the infrastructure.

If no CIVIT staff was involved (research only used the CIVIT equipment or facilities):

Add the following to the Publication’s Acknowledgement section:

  1. For publications without Acknowledgement section should use a footnote in the article title page.
  2. If publication supports hyperlinks, embed URL: “https://civit.fi/” for the CIVIT name.
