Apply for a MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship in 3D Media Group at Tampere University
CIVIT, in collaboration with DXOMARK, invites PhD degree holders, who are willing to apply for the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship, to join and actively co-develop successful applications to the MSCA PF program.
Imaging and image quality assessment
We are specifically interested in hosting postdocs to conduct cutting-edge research on measuring and profiling imaging sensors and developing objective and subjective image quality assessment methods and protocols.
The research will be carried out within 3D Media Group and utilising the world-class infrastructure facilities of CIVIT and the CIVIT-DXOMARK Joint Lab. We offer a cross-disciplinary research environment, aligned with the university’s strong commitment to the field of Imaging, and with possibility for inter-sectorial mobility to DXOMARK.
How to apply
You must have a PhD degree (by 10.9.2025), must not have more than 8 years of experience in research, from the date of the PhD degree award, and must not have resided or carried your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Finland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline (10.9.2025).

In the email, detail your project idea (max two paragraph) and confirm that you meet the above listed eligibility criteria. Attach a CV in pdf (max two pages). Deadline for indicating interest and sending the requested material is 23.4.2025.
- If you are among shortlisted candidates, you will be contacted after the above deadline to continue elaborating the project topic and proposal. You will also be invited to join an online Masterclass that supports you in preparing a competitive proposal. Masterclass takes place in May-June.
- Submit a proposal for funding in liaison with your supervisor. Application submission deadline to EU is 10.9.2025.
