CIVIT Premises Under Renovation for Improved Facilities

The renovation of CIVIT’s premises in Sähkötalo SA201 is set to begin on December 16, 2024. This project includes remodeling efforts to create a more advanced and flexible environment for immersive visual technology research.

Renovations will continue through the first half of 2025. However, we are supporting our users throughout this period, with most of our equipment remaining available and the CIVIT team on hand to assist with any technical needs. If you are interested in accessing our equipment during the renovation, please contact us directly or complete the equipment request form on our website.

During construction, entry to the premises will be available exclusively through outdoor access (see map). Please note that there will be noise disturbance during the renovation, especially during the first month and a half of the work. CIVIT facilities will be temporarily closed during weeks 3, 8 and 9, as well as for an additional week between April and May.
