Presentation Videos from CIVIT’s 10th Anniversary Workshop Now Available

CIVIT has published all presentations from its 10th Anniversary Workshop, held on November 27, 2025, at Tampere University. The full set of talks is now available on CIVIT’s YouTube channel as a dedicated playlist, offering an opportunity to revisit the day’s insights or catch up on sessions you may have missed.

The workshop included presentations from top experts across academia and industry. Morning speakers Martin Punke (Aumovio), Frederik Zilly (Bosch), and Peter Kovacs (aiMotive) discussed advances in automotive imaging, generative AI for driver assistance, and visual technologies for autonomous driving. In the afternoon, Federika Battisti (University of Padua), Tatjana Pladere (University of Latvia), and Mårten Sjöström (Mid Sweden University) explored topics ranging from Quality of Experience in XR to next‑generation display systems and realistic 3D environments for immersive remote operation. The event opened with welcoming remarks by Jarmo Takala (Tampere University) and an overview of CIVIT’s journey by Atanas Gotchev (Tampere University).

In addition to the presentations, the event included hands‑on demonstrations of CIVIT’s advanced facilities, including sensor profiling equipment, the volumetric capture studio, the omnidirectional treadmill, and display technologies.
