Staff Scientists are academic personnel who are responsible for specialist activities related to research. They also provide support to teaching and research staff at Tampere University.
Our current Staff Scientist, Pasi Pertilä, is moving on to new challenges in the industry. He is available until Friday 18 June 2021. We warmly thank Pasi for the past years with us!
The unit of Computing Sciences at Tampere University is looking for a Staff Scientist (Senior Researcher) to coordinate the Imaging Platform’s activities. The main role of the Imaging Platform Coordinator/ Staff Scientist is to prioritize project proposals and coordinate a group of cross-disciplinary postdoctoral researchers for developing advanced imaging as a cross-disciplinary service for the TAU research community. The Imaging Research Platform is one of the four strategic profiling areas at Tampere University, which received funding from the Academy of Finland for profiling strategic research.
