CIVIT Staff Scientist and Imaging Platform Coordinator Positions

We are looking for Staff Scientists!

Staff Scientists are academic personnel who are responsible for specialist activities related to research. They also provide support to teaching and research staff at Tampere University.

The CIVIT Staff Scientist oversees research projects executed at CIVIT, coordinates the CIVIT team, follows trends in the field, plans the development of CIVIT and maintains relationships with relevant stakeholders on national and European level. The unit of Computing Sciences at Tampere University is looking for a Staff Scientist (Senior Researcher) to coordinate the Imaging Platform’s activities. The main role of the Imaging Platform Coordinator/ Staff Scientist is to prioritize project proposals and coordinate a group of cross-disciplinary postdoctoral researchers for developing advanced imaging as a cross-disciplinary service for the TAU research community. The Imaging Research Platform is one of the four strategic profiling areas at Tampere University, which received funding from the Academy of Finland for profiling strategic research.
