CIVIT Premises in Renovation

CIVIT premises in Sähkötalo SA201 are under renovation during the latter part of 2021. We are reconstructing and remodeling our premises to accommodate the new volumetric capture studio, which is to be installed in fall 2021, along with newly remodeled spaces. Unfortunately, we cannot host visitors at CIVIT during the renovation and some of the fixed equipment, such as the Omnideck VR treadmill and HoloVizio light field display, are not accessible.

Despite the renovation, our CIVIT team is available for any help regarding the use of immersive visual technologies and most of our equipment is still available for research use. If you are interested in using our equipment during the summer, please contact us or fill in the equipment request form.
