FIMA Demoday: Machine Vision for Work Machines
FIMA, the Forum for Intelligent Machines, organizes a demoday on Thursday, October 14, in Hervanta Campus. The main theme of the demoday is “machine vision for work mahcines“. Companies and research groups from Tampere University will be presenting their latest technologies of machine vision and optical perception technology at the demoday. The aim of the event is to to insipire R&D specialists creating new innovations and solutions.
CIVIT has four demos at the event
- Outdoor capable time-of-flight sensor resolution: High resolution 320×240 20 Hz snapshot depth sensor with 100 000 lux ambient light tolerance, which can handle bright daylight conditions (ESPROS Photonics ToFCAM 660)
- High Dynamic Range cameras: High Dynamic Range (140+dB) IP67 machine vision camera with automotive grade Sony IMX490 sensor for imaging applications in high contrast outdoor environments
- Gaze-tracking glasses: Machine learning powered, calibration free eye tracking glasses weighing 47 grams (Pupil Labs Invisible)
- RemoteFeel remote operation system: Hands-on demonstration of the remote operation platform from the RemoteFeel project, which is now being developed further in MIRO – Mixed Reality for Operating Mobile Machines
